Oraynu News!

Our own Rabbi Eva Goldfinger represented Oraynu and the movement of Secular Humanistic Judaism at Sunday’s memorial for the victims of last week’s van attack. Thank you, Eva, for your beautiful words and for showing the world how Humanistic Judaism handles tragedy and death — with courage, hope, and compassion.

Whether you’re a cultural or secular Jew, agnostic, intermarried, single or partnered, LGBTQ, Jewishly-involved or seeking Jewish connection, we warmly welcome you to join our community.

On Saturday May 12th, our Mothers for Mothers High Tea and Havdalah “tikkun olam” event will raise funds to provide Mother’s Day treats to a women’s shelter for mothers and their children.

On Friday June 1st, Paul Golin, Executive Director of the Society for Humanistic Judaism, will speak at a Shabbat program on the topic “The Future of Progressive Judaism.” Join us!

Oraynu was featured in Spring 2018 issue of the CJN’s Canadian Jewish Life Magazine; the article focused on alternative approaches to the Passover seder.  For this and other Canadian Jewish News articles regarding Oraynu, see LINKS tab above.
