Shabbat and Holidays

We offer Shabbat celebrations about once per month. Each Shabbat consists of a short service led by our Rabbi, followed by a different program each time, ranging from speakers, holiday themes, Israeli movies to purely social gatherings. Our Shabbat services incorporate humanistic blessings for the traditional symbols of candles, wine and challah. There is wonderful music and warm community. Join us!

Marking the Rhythms of the Jewish Calendar

At Oraynu, we explore the cultural, creative and spiritual aspects of the Jewish experience.

  • Pesach –  Oraynu has published a haggadah for both congregational and wider community usage, Roots and Branches: A Humanistic Haggadah for Passover. For more information, click here.
