Grade 3/4's "REWRITING ISAIAH"
The prophet Isaiah said: “They shall beat their swords into ploughshares and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore”. (Isaiah 2:4)
Our Gr. 3/4 class rewrote the prophet Isaiah's quote using modern technology.
Here is what they came up with:
“They shall melt their guns into utensils and turn their war vehicles into transportation;
nation shall not point rockets at nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” - Matthew M.
“They shall change their fighter jets into airplanes and hate into love;
nation shall not lift up gun against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” - Dana W.
“They shall change their tanks into cars and wheelchairs and their battleships into ferries and boats;
nation shall not fight against nation, neither shall they learn war any more” - Rosie L.
“They shall make their guns into wheelchairs and their army tanks into cars;
nation shall not lift up gun against nation; neither shall they learn war anymore” - Eric V.
”They shall make tanks into cars and guns into hammers;
nation shall not shoot guns against nation; neither shall they learn war anymore” - Danielle N.
“They should take apart their battleships and use them for cruises and their guns into silver windows;
nation shall not shoot nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” - Maddie A.
“Soldiers should recycle their guns and instead of using them for war, change them into car engines
or other useful objects for you or your community. Do not use guns.
Nation should not fight for land or just to conquer the country against
another nation or friends, family or your community” - Harrison P. D.
