Jewish Education for Children with a Secular Humanistic Focus

Oraynu Children’s School is an integral part of Oraynu Congregation for Humanistic Judaism. It was created in 1968 by a group of dedicated parents to provide their children with a meaningful secular Jewish education.

Oraynu offers instruction in Jewish history, culture and values from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 7. Classes are from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Sundays from September to May.

Our Jewish studies are supported by a curriculum titled Values and History Based Curriculum for Secular Humanistic Jewish Supplementary Schools.
