Two tzedakah activities at this event:

Grade 5-6 CHANUKIYAH AUCTION for Na’amat’s SHALOM DAY CARE, to raise funds for Hebrew and Arabic picture books.  

Our Grade 3-4 CHANUKAH MARKET (in Hebrew, ‘Shuuk’) selling household items, books or toys for Na’amat’s SHALOM DAY CARE, to raise funds for Hebrew and Arabic picture books.

Please bring whole, pre-washed fruit/veggies, rice crackers, cheese and nut-free/gluten-free baked goods for the Oraynu crowd to share – no nuts, shellfish, fish or gluten, please.  The school will provide the latkes!

After our presentations, we will have ISRAELI FOLKDANCING with Yossi Strauch, and other children’s activities!

All funds collected will go to the purchase of picture books in both Hebrew and Arabic at the SHALOM DAY CARE in Jaffa, Israel. Na’amat sponsors day care centres and shelters in Israel that welcome children from all segments of Israeli society.  The Shalom Day Care promotes peace in theMiddle East through the integration  of  Jewish,  Muslim  and  Christian  children.

Family, friends and guests are welcome.
