  1. If you are re-enrolling children at school:
    1. Our new registration season will start in May, and you will receive emails with links for the re-registration of each returning school child.
  2. If you are registering a NEW sibling in our school:
    1. Please contact the Oraynu office and provide the name of the new child enrolling.  An email with a link personalized for that child will be sent to you.

Please contact the office and provide the name(s) and grade(s) of the new child(ren) enrolling.  This applies whether or not you are Oraynu Congregation members.  Emails with registration links, personalized for each child, will be sent to you.

General information
  • SCHOOL HOURS: Oraynu’s School program takes place on Sunday mornings, 10am to 12:30pm.
  • LOCATION: We permit space at St. Andrews Junior High School, 131 Fenn Ave, Bayview / York Mills. This is a TDSB facility.
  • SCHOOL STARTS ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2018

School Fees for 2018-19

Classroom tuition, JK – grade 7

  • Member child – $940
  • Non-member child – $1,295 (JK – grade 5 only)
  • Reductions for siblings – $50 per sibling
  • Discount for early registration by Sat June 30, 2018 – $100 per child
  • Non-refundable portion of tuition – $200 per child

Bnai Mitzvah Group Ceremony participation fee – $2,900 per child ($2000 for a 2nd twin)

Payments
  • Fees may be paid in full at time of registration, or will be accepted at a minimum of 50% with registration and the balance payable by a series of cheques, promptly submitted by mail and all post-dated before December 15, 2018.
  • Alternate arrangements may be made with the Office Manager.
  • Tax receipts will be issued to the cheque writer or credit card holder, unless Oraynu receives written instructions to the contrary.
  • Tax receipts will be issued after the end of the calendar year for payments made during that calendar year.
  • Oraynu bursaries are available (limited and intended for families in financial need). Please inquire. The application deadline is August 31.
Donations
    • Your school fees only partially cover the costs of operating our Children’s School. The actual cost of the program is almost $2000 per student.  Our school relies on member and school family donations, and on grants from the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto.
    • Thank you for considering a generous donation to help support our school and youth programs, and to maintain the high quality of both.
Referrals?

Were you referred to our school by an Oraynu school family or congregational member? If yes, please make sure to indicate this when you register; referring families receive a $100 gift.
