What Our Members Say …
D.B.
"Since joining Oraynu some six years ago I feel I have found my “Jewish Home.” I have met many welcoming, interesting people and learned much more about Judaism. This has taken place in a context in which I do not need to mouth the words about a god in which I do not really believe."
S.M.
"Being part of a humanistic Jewish community enables me to express my love of my Jewish identity. Each time we come together we learn more of what it means to be a Humanistic Jew. I am particularly grateful for the many caring and supportive members in our Oraynu Congregation."
B.C.
"I’ve been a member of Oraynu for over 25 years. Both my children attended the Sunday school. Oraynu has fulfilled all my expectations and has allowed my children to maintain their Jewish identity."
I.R.
"Oraynu has been instrumental for our intermarried family, not only in helping us cultivate and grow our Jewish roots and traditions, but also in navigating significant moments in our family life (joys, sorrows) with a spirit of community and belonging."
L.C.
"I have been a member of Oraynu for over fifteen years. Oraynu has provided this godless wandering Jew with a home that celebrates Jewish history, culture and values and a community that walks the talk of tolerance, diversity and social action."
A.B.
"Oraynu strengthens our connection to Jewish history, culture, and traditions and reinforces the important value of social justice."

After searching for an accepting and affirming congregation, that treated all members with equal respect and acceptance, and focused on tikkun olam, rather than rules and dogma, Oraynu was the perfect fit for our family. I'm grateful, as part of a mixed-marriage family, to have found a place to combine Jewish culture and values for our children, in such a welcoming, tolerant environment.
G.R.
We have been members of Oraynu for about 20 years. Oraynu has been with us through so many life events, in joy and sadness, supportive and warm. We feel very fortunate to be members of Oraynu all these many years.

Oraynu is an inclusive congregation that meets my spiritual needs. It's a warm, caring environment where I can celebrate my Jewish history and culture. Their services are reflective, thought provoking and have great singers and musicians. Their Tikkun Olam projects create the opportunity to work together with like minded people and they make me feel like I am an important part of the community. I cannot imagine my Jewish life without Oraynu.
N.P.
Oraynu has been a wonderful place for our family to grow and make meaningful connections to our Jewish roots. The community is warm, dedicated and one that celebrates diversity. Highly recommend getting involved in the High Holiday services and Children’s School.
